In Basic Terms:
The frenum and frenulum attaches your lip to your gums and your tongue to the floor of the mouth. We all have it! Some of us just have ours not in an ideal place.

The frenum/frenulum can be easily revised using various techniques. Dr. Carroll employs a minimally invasive technique utilizing a laser for the procedure. It reduces healing times and discomfort for infants and children. The procedure can be completed quickly and safely within 5-10 minutes.

Treatment of lip and tongue tie often involves a multi-disciplinary team, we are one piece of the puzzle. We enjoy working with IBCLC's, lactation consultants, chiropractors, pediatricians, craniosacral therapists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, feeding therapists, and myofunctional therapists.
